The Dodge Challenger concept car is expected to get the go ahead for production. According to Autoweek, it will go on sale sometime next year, which should be possible due to the use of many off the shelf components like the 6.1-liter, 425-hp SRT8 Hemi V8 and a modified LX platform that is already used in the 300C and the Dodge Magnum. Speculation has been rampant since the Camaro was announced and it looks like Dodge went ahead with what everyone has been anticipating since it first appeared on the show circuit.
